CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. Scope

This policy applies when no specific Cancellation & Refund Policy is stated for a particular Adventure Program at the time of booking.


2. Local Adventure Programs

a. Cancellation 10 days or more before the Adventure Program:

  • Full refund,

  • Less any non-refundable transaction fees, including payment gateway or bank transfer fees.

b. Cancellation less than 10 days and more than 5 days before the Adventure Program:

  • Refund of 50% of the booking amount,

  • Less transaction fees.

c. Cancellation less than 5 days before the Adventure Program:

  • No refund.


3. International Adventure Programs

a. Cancellation 30 days or more before the Adventure Program:

  • Full refund,

  • Less non-refundable transaction fees.

b. Cancellation less than 30 days and more than 15 days before the Adventure Program:

  • Refund of 50%.

c. Cancellation less than 15 days before the Adventure Program:

  • No refund.


4. Refund Method & Processing

  1. Refunds shall be processed only through the same payment method used for the original transaction.

  2. Refund timing and processing depend on:

    • The terms of the payment gateway used, and

    • The issuing bank’s procedures.

  3. Lost Mountains is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways or banks.

  4. Any disputes related to electronic payments or refunds are strictly between the Client and the payment gateway or bank.


5. Refunds Processed by Lost Mountains (Exception)

  1. Lost Mountains will process refunds only if payment was made via direct bank transfer to the official bank account of Al-Jibal Al-Mafqoudah Tourism Organization.

  2. Such refunds will be processed within 5 business days from approval.

  3. Refunds will not be processed by Lost Mountains if payment was made through a payment gateway.


6. General Provisions

  1. All bank and payment gateway fees are non-refundable.

  2. Cancellation periods are calculated in calendar days.

  3. No compensation beyond the scope of this policy shall be granted.

  4. Completing a booking constitutes full acceptance of this policy.
