Two days. One night in the mountains. A journey towards a hidden village.
Deep within Jabal Ibrahim in Bani Malek , Wid Village lies hidden among mountain terrain, old settlements, caves, natural formations, and trails connected to the lives of local communities for generations.
This adventure takes you beyond the usual routes to explore a place where nature, heritage, and local stories come together over two days and one night.
The experience begins with an off-road journey through the mountains towards the campsite. Adventurers establish their tents, prepare their equipment, and receive an adventure and safety briefing before enjoying a traditional dinner beneath the mountain sky.
The following morning begins with breakfast and equipment preparation, followed by a four-wheel-drive exploration of Jabal Ibrahim and an approximately two-kilometre hike towards historic Wid Village.
The route passes old houses, narrow pathways, caves, rock formations, and distinctive natural features, including the formations locally known as the Shamarikh of Jabal Ibrahim.
The objective is to discover the relationship between the mountain, its history, and the people who once lived within this landscape, following old trails towards a hidden village that preserves the memory of the area.

Travel across remote mountain roads and explore the natural terrain of Jabal Ibrahim.
An exploratory hike towards old houses, pathways, caves, and natural mountain formations.
Some caves and rock markings are connected to local oral traditions. Residents also share an account of an Arabian leopard sighting in the mountains approximately 50 years ago. These stories form part of the area’s living local memory.
Rated moderate, 4–6 out of 10, the adventure is suitable for beginners with basic fitness. Old houses, pathways, caves, and rock markings must be protected, with nothing touched, removed, damaged, or left behind.
