Jabal Ibrahim Outdoor Adventure Camp

3 days of learning and practice. Your practical step toward stronger and more confident adventures.

In the highlands of Bani Malik, south of Taif, surrounded by Jabal Ibrahim’s rugged terrain, old mountain villages, and deep valleys, nature becomes an open-air training ground. This is not a place where you simply learn about adventure—you practise its skills and discover how proper preparation can transform an uncertain outdoor experience into a structured and confident mountain adventure.

The Lost Mountains Outdoor Adventure Camp at Jabal Ibrahim is designed as a starting point for beginners and a development experience for adventurers who want to organise their knowledge, strengthen their readiness, and build a practical foundation for hiking, camping, and mountain adventures.

The experience begins on Thursday evening with arrival at the location, meeting the team, checking equipment, and settling into camp before two active days of learning and practice. On Friday morning, field training begins with adventure planning, selecting appropriate equipment, preparing and balancing a backpack, establishing a campsite, managing the camp environment, and preparing meals outdoors.

As training moves into the terrain surrounding Jabal Ibrahim, adventurers learn to read maps, use GPS devices, understand direction, elevation, and natural landmarks, select safe lines of movement, and assess risks before making decisions. The camp also introduces essential first-aid principles, group management, teamwork, communication, and leadership in outdoor environments.

The program includes practical experience with rope equipment, beginning with helmets, harnesses, ropes, connection systems, and essential knots. Adventurers then practise controlled rope ascent and abseiling under the team’s supervision within an organised training environment. The objective is to understand the equipment and use it with confidence, focus, and control.

On Saturday, the individual skills come together in an integrated field challenge. Adventurers prepare their equipment, navigate using maps and GPS, work as a team, and respond to situations requiring planning, communication, and decision-making before the camp concludes at sunset.
